Again with the DRD. So sorry for the lack of updates. I actually have the page almost totally planned out, I just can't for the life of me figure out what to do with the last panel. I may finish the rest of the page and then see if anyone has an idea.

I suppose that, since I haven't posted anything lately, this should be considered the first Dead Ren Day.

I'll basically post anything pertaining to ALEX and MICHELLE that I've already done during these days. So look out for random sketches and such on these days! Not much else to say on the topic. So enjoy this character sketch of Alex.

News � Chapter One

The second page - the chapter cover - is out. I wonder if anyone compares it to GAINAX's work in FLCL. I mean, I'm using it as slight reference. It's my first real comic work, so I need something to look at. Even though I'm reading numerous things right now.

YOTSUBA&! is good. I just finished reading the first volume. It's really amusing, actually, how Yotsuba is always happy. She's either happy or distressed. I love it. Her expressions are absolutely delightful.

Another thing I picked up at the library was Flower of the Deep Sleep. I mostly liked the art, but the story isn't bad either. It moves a little quickly for my tastes, but the art's good enough for me to deal with it.

I've always been a Spiderman fan. So when I spotted a copy of a Mary-Jane comic on the library shelf, I decided to grab it. Not half-bad, though I still love [the original art of] Spiderman.

Thankyu to everyone who's commented thus far. I hope that my comic gets to be better and better over time. Now if only I could find that long-term plotline for AnM.

Well, the first comic is out. I wouldn't quite call it well anticipated, because very few people know of it. However, I do have one person who wanted to check it out, upon seeing the original sketches for Alex and Michelle. I may put them up as DRDs one day, or I may save them for myself.

It only took me a day to knock this one out. I don't expect the others to be as easy, due to the fact that I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like from the beginning. Then I went about and lost the paper on which I had the general idea of where I wanted the story to go. It's somewhere, I bet, but no where it wants to be found. So, until then, I may have to make something up.

Once I find it, I may also design those characters and put their sketches up as DRDs. They wouldn't take long, as it's just a sketch, inking, and then colouring. It's easier with a tablet.

The next thing I need to figure out is tones. Mostly, how to get them onto PSP7. Learning to colour was easy enough, but if I want AnM to look good, I'll figure out tones.

Maybe I'll put out a book.
